This European standard is for mechanical operation, is a series of tests on fastness, strength, weather resistance and function of hinges in use.
Eight-digit codes are generally used, each code representing different indicators and requirements.
The first code, divided into 4 grades according to the intensity of use.
1 level: hinge for door, Careful maintenance during use, little chance of misuse and damage. Such as residence, villa.
2 level:hinge for door, Maintenance during use, some chance of misuse and damage. Such as office building.
3 level:hinge for door, No maintenance during use, more chance of misuse and damage. Such as hospital, library, school.
4 level:hinge for door, a lot of chance of misuse and damage. Such as super market, May be opened by violence, such as prison.
The second code is the usage test for door and window hinges.
