EURO Profile mortise door lock is a cylinder-shaped lock. The magnetic lock is a kind of mortise lock.
Magnetic lock – The magnetic lock uses a small magnet on one side of its body to hold it in place while it opens and closes at will. When the door is opened, the latch bolt will retract into the lock case and not prove out. This is more secure than a latch bolt. In addition, the latch bolt made of nylon does not rub against the striking plate, and there is no noise.
Benefits for users:
- Silent locking function
The magnetic lock is a kind of mortise lock. Magnetic latch bolt, after closing the door, it uses magnetism to make the latch bolt pop up, which can eliminate noise nuisance and prevent the latch bolt from making a “click” sound.
- Artistic and convenience
The latch only extends into the frame part and is secured in place by magnetic force when the door is fully closed. In this way it does not knock against the door frame. The hidden design of the lock tongue is more artistic and convenient. The durable system is maintenance-free and remarkably wear-resistant.
- Safer
When the door is opened, the latch bolt retracts automatically without being exposed. The hidden design of the Latch bolt prevents someone from being scratched and loss of the lock body.
- Forend and strike plates made of SUS304
Prevent the lock body from being corroded
- Suitable for sprung and most unsprung lever handles

How to install magnetic locks?
The installation method of magnetic lock is the same as that of mortise lock. Proper installation of magnetic locks is critical.
Below is the step-by-step procedure for installing a Euro-style mortise lock.
1) Insert the key into the keyhole Euro cylinder lock so that the cam tongue is aligned with the lock body.
2) The next step is to screw the cylinder in place.
If the screw is too long (approximately the length of the shaped hole on the cylinder), the screw must be cut off. The screws provided for the cylinders have pre-cut notches to facilitate shortening the cylinders.
3) screw this set screw into the lockplate hole above the cylinder housing so that it will be inserted into the round hole in the cylinder that is centered under the cam groove. Obviously, this hole is not visible when the lock cylinder is inserted, but is easily visible when the screw is perpendicular to the lock plate.
4) The set screws must be tightened.
This is done by installing decorative escutcheons inside and out that cover the holes through which the cylinders pass under the door and above the exterior security.
5) Tighten the central screw with a screwdriver to secure the lock in place.
